Will a masters degree in social work enhance your chances of getting into medical school?

I have a masters degree in social work and, recently, decided that I would love to be an OBGYN. I would like to know if the masters degree will look good on a medical school application alongside other required course work for admissions.
no -you need the pre reqs for med school. talk to your adviser at the local college.
I doubt that it will help or hinder you in any serious way … the fact is, while there are certainly transferable skills between the two professions, they are largely unrelated.
