What engineering degree is required to design cars?

   perhaps mechanical engineering

   or mechatronic engineering

   but for the actual conceptual designing of cars, you mightn’t need an engineering degree at all. you could probably do that with a design degree or something

   Mechanical engineers specializing in automotive applications …..
   Engine design, drivetrain, suspension etc.
   Industrial designers do body & interior styling.
   They do not get along,
