a counselor as in a therapist?

i would defer from online schools. i am in a grad program right now and i wouldnt recommend going to an online school. especially if youre going to become a counselor youre going to require a lot of people interaction, which is a key part of your job. getting that type of training over the internet is very difficult and might defer future employers.

usually to become a therapist MFT or LPC ….you’d need to go get your Masters. Most programs are a year of study and a year of unpaid internship.
