What colleges/universities offer a degree in structural engineering in California?

I want to become a roller coaster designer and need a structural engineering or mechanical engineering degree.
I live in the Bay Area California and prefer to go to college in my home state, but I will possibly go to an out of state college if it offered what I’m looking for in a degree.

I would love to go to California State Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, but it’s tough to get into and I’m still searching for other universities that offer degrees in engineering.

Other tips and suggestions are appreciated. :)

Are you sure you want “Structural Engineering”? They may only get involves with designing the framework of the roller coaster. The only ABET-accredited Bachelor’s in Structural Engineering degree in California is at UC—San Diego. University of Houston offers Structural Analysis/Design in Engineering Technology.
