What can a person do with Psychology major and minor in Speech?

A friend of mine plans to go college and get her BA in Psychology and wants to minor in Speech. However, she wants to become a counselor or a social worker. Do you really think she can become a counselor or a social woker? I told her that she needs to get at least a certificate degree since she is not planning to purse her Masters…
Please provide me with more information; What can she do with her BA psychology major and minor in Speech?

I agree with you. After she gets her BA, she needs to go through a program and get a certificate. At least, all the ones I know did this.
