Rulon Gardner, ’96, is an Olympic gold-medal-winning wrestler. “My teaching degree from Nebraska is more important to me than anything I’ve achieved,” Gardner said. “It represents my most difficult journey of all and became the foundation for everything else I’ve ever accomplished.”
