Is it practical to start college for a Mechanical Engineering degree in mid thirties?

I’ve been a draftsmen (CAD) for 15 plus years and ready to do more. How practical is an Mechanical Engineering degree program to start in the Mid -Thirties. I’d be starting out as a freshman with a few college credits earned.
