My ultimate goal is to open my own Accounting practice, but looking for another degree that will be complimentary.

I have noticed through job searching that they are alot of positions available in Finance. However, I only ever took one finance course per my curriculum in college. Would it be wise to go get my degree in Finance since it would only take me one year of course work. What about an economics degree? I am not interested in going for my MBA.

Does anyone know how much of an financial increase in salary a finance degree will get me on top of a marketing degree? If it helps I am interested in becoming a brand manager.
