Paralegal is lawyer’s assistant, they help filing documents and legal researches, pretty much they’re doing very similar things as a solicitor.

You mostly study how to research cases. Paralegals are
the backbone to a lawyer, they keep books, find cases and do all the leg work. Basically the lawyer takes the paralegals work to court with him and presents it to the court.

Paralegals learn a lot of fast typing….they’re assistants to attorneys so they have to learn a lot of legal concepts. If you like law or if you’re not sure, that’s a good way to try it out. Para-(for)..Legal (attorneys). Legal assistant, qualified by education and training to assist attorney in the delivery of legal services.
