Is a GENERAL Business Administration degree better than one that is concentrated?

when you choose Business Administration you can choose between different “concentrations” – Business Analysis
Entrepreneurial/Small Business Management
General
Information Technology Management
International Business Management
Marketing

I chose “GENERAL” just because I have nothing specific I want to go for. I want a broad degree to give me a competitive edge when looking for jobs

was this a wise choice?

Most jobs just want a bachelor’s degree in a related field. In other words, it really doesn’t help or hurt to pick a concentration. I like a broad range of topics, so I chose general businesses administration.

No it isn’t better. A general business degree is just TOO broad. I suggest that you focus on whatever interest you. Focusing will make you more marketable.
