    You may have to transfer your licensing or get re-licensed in the new State.

    Your degree is good all over the country. The problem is that generally these degrees are fashioned to include what is needed for any state licensing in the state you received it. To get a license in another state might or might not require some extra study. You need to check the licensing requirements in MA.

    As for the degree itself, it’s good in all states as a degree and if what you will be doing does not require a license, you are good to go.

    You have a master’s degree in early education – but do you have a Standard Certification from your state?? In order to teach within a public school in PA, you will need to have any standard certifications transferred, for a fee to the PA Commisioner of Education.

    Good luck – early education is an AWESOME field!! (-;
